Wouldn’t vaccinate my husband even though he has a Covid comorbidity under NYS guidelines. Walgreens is extremely vague about what kind of documentation they require (if any) on their website and hotline (we consulted both and found nothing, and their phone system in stores just redirects back to the website and hotline so there’s no one to ask). So, when the dispensing pharmacist— not his doctor— decided in her opinion that he didn’t have one, that was that.

People will continue to die unnecessarily because of this kind of gatekeeping and withholding vaccines from people who need it.

This is the worst place to be, if you have a child in your hands and purse, they will assume you are shop lifting and going call cops on you and then lie to the officers, we see in the news a poor woman peper spray thanks to this neglect people. This business needs to close or at least fire those 2 in the video, we are donating to make sure this place get sue.

My daughter just spoke to a woman in the pharmacy and her attitude was horrible! She tried asking the woman if they had a certain medicine for her fiancé, and the woman proceeded to interact with her in a disgusting nasty unnecessary way! These ppl need to learn how to talk to customers, because if it wasn’t for us there wouldn’t be any need to hire them! There are lots of sweet ppl looking for jobs, why in the hell are the only ones being hired have NO personal skills or respect?

It wasn’t immediate but I did get the best service here. And since I am am shopping here often I can say that almost every time service is good. So not sure why others reviewed it so low.

2/5 stars is NOT because of the quality of service at this location. I only get washes here and they are just fine. The issue that I consistently have are the other customers. 4/5 times when attempting to turn onto E. Main St. at the EXIT only driveway, some jack*** tries to pull in. I have almost been in an accident numerous times. People here just don’t care. I’ve also be heckled by panhandlers when waiting in line for a wash. Also, if you need to go here, go before 8AM or after 7PM when the madness is at a minimum.

As a customer, Sam is prehaps the kindest soul on Monroe. This corner store almost always has everything I need for a quick pick me up. Family run staff, so always reliable and safe.

This is my go to spot in the neighborhood. I like the wings and fried shrimp from here. I’m here daily and chose to buy a house in this neighborhood because of everything available on South Clinton. Alot of hidden gems….trust me. If you a pothead and foodie…you would know. I always get my booze from here….no reason to give a gas station 1 star……why you so mad about Chicken….I see people order all the time so it must be good.

Just had to redo my account and its annoying but they always have fresh Angus cheeseburgers and give the doggies treats however I think they should wipe off those counters after the treat giving though but otherwise no problems

Can you say CRACKHEAD? Because THAT’S what you find there. Can’t even pump gas without some pill popper or needle shooting or stem smoking addict trying to look in your car and nag you for money. The lot and entrance walkway are disgusting and filthy.
And the owners do nothing to correct it and have the nerve to overcharge people regularly on cheap products. Dusty shelving. Sticky floors. It’s a no no to go there unless you are oblivious to what’s wrong with that whole situation.

Build up points with the app. But you have to watch out bc all of a sudden your points disappear and if you dont ask if you can use your points they won’t tell you you have enough for $$$ off.

I’ve never had a problem here. Lots of reviews “complaining” about the homeless that are constantly outside. First of all, check yourself. If you tell them no, they leave you alone. When the employees go out there and chase em off, they’re back in ten minutes anyways. It’s because of the location, not because of the employees. They’ve gone as far as blasting classical music outside to make it less appealing for squatters to hang out there. My experience INSIDE the store has been great. It’s exactly what you should expect. Almost all things are usually stocked, the front end might be in a rush, but that’s because they usually get people in there taking 15 minutes to pick out lottery tickets and want to make sure they can take care of the line that formed as fast as possible. This used to be full of the latest magazines and news papers – they had everything. Now its a hangout for panhandlers, winos and loiterers from the project building across the street. The staff is always very friendly and helpful which I don’t understand but good for them. They do make deli sandwiches and have some basic food staples but I mostly avoid the place except in an emergency because of the riff-raff you have to walk through. Its not dangerous at all but a lot of mentally ill and really dirty people patronize the place. I’d like to see it become a cleaner, more mainstream place again but the client demographic there makes it tough.

Many native Rochesterians remember what a wonderful place World Wide News was years ago, and it was known far beyond Rochester as a place like no other. Sadly, under the current ownership, which is incapable of running this storied institution as it should be, this is no longer the case.

This building used to be packed with newspapers and magazines from all over. Any title you wanted they had. Now it’s a mere shell of what it once was and is used more for Quik Pick and lottery plus a limited convenience store. Such a shame to see it waste away.

Has lots of stuff that you may need. Pretty decent prices, it’s really the only dollar store around the Monroe ave/Meigs area.

They dont stock their shelves that well however. The store is hard to navigate if you have a child or stroller bc many of the items are still on stocking carts.

Huge Improvement!!! Aisles are cleared. Counters opened up. The sweetest young lady behind the register. short staffed but the Best selection hands down. Especially compared to the other locations. Best you could expect, Its family Dollar not Neiman Marcus. 😁

I have called 5 times in the last 30 mins just to try ordering a pizza and the phone rings until it cant anymore. I dont see why the website says to call because they dont allow to order online if they arent going to answer!! How do yall expect to make money off the food if your not answering the phone. LOCK THE DOORS AROUND MIDNIGHT TO DO “CHANGE OVER”. ARMED GUARD INFORMS ME THIS IS NORMAL PROCEDURE FOR THIS GAS STATION EACH NIGHT. OK, SAYS WILL TAKE ABOUT TEN MINUTES, ACCORDING TO WHOSE CLOCK? BECAUSE WERE GOING ON 20. Service clearly sucks.
